Overall Responsibility: This position serves as the primary business contact with specified Watershed Foods customers in all aspects of daily operations.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

· Manage customer accounts by representing your team externally with customer contacts and internally.

· Develop a thorough understanding of customers’ position in the market, their product, points of difference and competitive landscape.

· Manage day-to-day customer communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to order management.

· Own customer orders and forecast data, ensuring it remains current for other team members to use in their business responsibilities.

· Monitor orders to ensure all are shipped to meet customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

· Develop, manage and report on internal KPIs.

· Fields customer inquiries regarding logistics, shipping dates, invoices, etc.

· Collaborate within cross-functional teams.

· Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels, both internally and at managed customers.

· Proactively remain connected to customers and the ever-changing market to identify potential new opportunities for Watershed to collaborate with them on.

Skills Required:

· Experience with project management or account management (experience working directly with major retailers preferred).

· Ability to effectively communicate with customer leaders of all levels.

· Proven history of strong computer/data management skills with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, order processing and fulfillment systems, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and Customer Point-of-Sale (POS) systems preferred.

· Strong communicator – in writing, by phone, in person, in presenting, etc.

· Attentive to detail and highly organized.

· Self-motivated.

· Talented at building relationships.

· Committed to world-class customer service.

· Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced and evolving environment with little notice.

· Able to role model humility, trust, integrity, teamwork, and our other key Watershed DNA traits.
